Thank you, Holy Spirit!

The extraordinary generosity of Holy Spirit parishioners resulted in donations to Sacred Heart for turkeys and tarps totaling $12,593.10.  Wow!  This, we believe, is the largest donation our Parish has made to Sacred Heart for our Thanksgiving drive.

Thank you for your kindness to those in our community who need our help, especially in this most challenging year.  Your donations and your prayers are feeding the hearts and souls of many families, and we are grateful for the outpouring of support.

Have a blessed holiday season, and thank you again,
Elizabeth Ward & Maria Pecota

“Feed the hungry and help those in trouble. Then your light will shine out from the darkness, and the darkness around you will be as bright as noon.”  Isaiah 58:10

For over 25 years, our Holy Spirit community has been a ray of hope to the many clients at Sacred Heart Community Services.  As the holidays quickly come upon us we again are asked to help those in need.  We have the opportunity to provide a turkey, chicken or ham dinner to brighten the season for families in need.  As we gather around our table to give thanks we are ensuring that they also have something to give thanks for.

We will be collecting donations November 7th through 15th. A donation of $20.00 supports one holiday dinner which feeds 12-18 people or provides two tarps for our Survival Sacks ministry.  Below is the donation link.  Please be as generous as you can.  We know this is a trying year so if you aren’t able to participate this year we ask for your continued prayers for our brothers and sisters at Sacred Heart.

Together we can make a difference.
