A Message from Sacred Heart – 12/21/20

Dear Fr. Ritche and friends at Holy Spirit Church,

Thank you for your generous financial and volunteer support of Sacred Heart community service this holiday season!  As of today, Your parish has raised over $19,000 for Sacred Heart!  Your gifts have greatly impacted our members.

In this year of uncertainty, you have helped families and individuals celebrate their holiday traditions, put a healthy meal on the table, and provide gifts for their children. Most of all, you have given the gift of being seen, heard, and cared for to those who are suffering in our community.

A special thank you to Maria Pecota and Mary Jane Vitkovich for getting the word out about volunteering, donation drives, and creating a donation page for your congregation. These two have done an amazing job!

As the pandemic continues to deeply impact are low-income community, your support is especially appreciated.

On behalf of our entire community, thank you. We wish you all the best in the New Year ahead!

Gratefully,
Annette Pizzo
Community Relations Manager

Toy Drive

Sacred Heart has made changes to their Toy Drive program.   Each family will be given gift cards from Target-Walmart-Amazon so the parents can pick out what is needed for Christmas. Their goal is to ensure 6000 children get gifts this year.

Here is how you can help:

–   Please click the donation button below and give the amount that best works for you.

–   OR purchase gift cards yourself in $10.00 or $25.00 denominations and drop them off at Sacred Heart 1381 S First Street.

With your help we can help bring joy to these families this Christmas and a smile to a child’s face.
