Bishop Oscar Cantu bestowed the Sacrament of Confirmation on nine of our parishioners on Saturday Feb 3rd at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Joseph. Please congratulate them when you see them and continue to hold them in your prayers.
There is no Domestic Church session on Wednesday February 28th. Please continue the at-home study chapters and complete through chapter 10.
Vacation Bible School is Coming to Holy Spirit!

Holy Spirit Parish staffs and manages the Survival Sack Program at Sacred Heart Community Center. We gather on the first and third Thursdays of the month from 8:30 am to 10:45 am to distribute Survival Sacks to those who are registered as homeless and living on the streets of San Jose. Homeless clients may pick up a backpack once every three months. The backpacks contain a small blanket, socks, underwear, a large hygiene kit, gloves, hat, toilet paper and a water bottle. Tarps donated by Holy Spirit Parish (Turkeys and Tarps Drive) may also be available.

Lenten Speaker Series – Session 2
The second session in our Lenten Speaker Series is this upcoming Thursday, February 29th at 6pm. Dr. Catherine Murphy, PhD.will be facilitating the discussion on “Live in the Light—The Invitation to Choose Life in the Gospel of John.”

The Lenten Speaker Series and Soup Suppers will take place on the Thursdays Feb 22-March 21.
We have invited some wonderful presenters to help make this a prayerful Lenten Journey together.
Hope & Healing – Grief Group
If you have experienced the loss of a loved one, then please join us Feb. 8th for a new Hope & Healing Grief Consolation Group. It is a cross-parish 6-week series on bereavement care to foster healing through scripture, contemplative prayer, and small group faith sharing.
