“Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts.” Colossians 3:16
The role of the Music Ministry is to share the gospel of Jesus Christ through song. It is our most important role as ministers of music to support the singing and worship of the congregation. As the Body of Christ, we are many parts, and we need each other to function. The Music Ministry serves as a way for us to engage in full, conscious, and active participation in our liturgy.
At Holy Spirit, we are blessed by the dedication of our music ministers who devote their time and talent to heighten our worship experience. We are also in constant need for more parishioners to prayerfully reflect and consider our music ministry. Whether you sing or play an instrument, we welcome participants of all ages to get involved and sing to the Lord!
We provide music at all our liturgical celebrations including:
Saturday Vigil 5pm, all Sunday masses, as well as Feast Days, Holy Days of Obligation, and Special Occasions.
Rehearsals for all music ministers occur every 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the month, 6:30-8pm in the Church. Rehearsals for each Weekend Mass begin one hour prior to the scheduled Mass time.

Holy Spirit Children’s Choir
The Children’s Choir is directed by Tim Mascarinas. This ensemble is a combination of children from both Holy Spirit School and Holy Spirit Parish communities. They sing at Mass every 2nd Sunday of the month at the 11:30am Mass and is open to all children third grade and up.
Students at Holy Spirit School rehearse every Tuesday afternoon from 3-4pm in the Church.
Students from Holy Spirit School also sing at the School Mass every Wednesday morning at 8:30am and at 11am on Holy Days of Obligation.
Students from the Parish community can join students at Holy Spirit School on the Tuesday before the 2nd Sunday of the month, 3-4pm in the Church.
