Together in Prayer

Together, we offer up our prayers

Turning the calendar means a fresh start, resolutions, and maybe new ways of doing things. This New Year, the Parish is offering a time to come together in prayer. We can probably all agree that our world, our nation, and our community need prayer!  With the message of Christmas and the Incarnation still alive in our hearts, our prayer can be a healing presence of Christ in the world.

When:   Beginning Monday, January 4. We will gather virtually for prayer Monday through Thursday evenings from 7:00-7:30pm. These are standalone sessions so don’t worry about having to commit to all or nothing. Of course, our hope is that you join us for one, two, or as many as you can.

What:   A facilitator each evening will lead the group in praying Evening Prayer. We’ll use the January copy of Give Us This Day. We will simply pray as a community. There are no breakout groups or discussion. But there will be a sense of community as we link our prayer together.

How:    Please RSVP on the website and we will send you a link. This link will allow you to attend any of the community prayer sessions throughout the month of January. Don’t forget to tell a friend—invite someone to join with you!
