Gathering as One

 In Pastor's Notes-Fr. Ritche

This weekend, we are going to make some adjustments and temporary adaptations to our liturgy following the guidelines from the County and the Diocese.  Last Sunday, we showed the video on what is expected of us as we prepare to come for worship.   If you need to watch it again, the video is available here and on our website: click here to watch video.

What is important to remember is that there is no need to sign up to attend Mass. There will not be a check in counter at the entrance of the church as well.  Just come on in and join the community! However, if you are not feeling well, whether it is COVID-related or not, I encourage you to stay home and join us virtually. Your well-being and the safety of others is of utmost importance.

The most recent public health order from the County and Diocese requires masks indoors for all, regardless of vaccination status. Please wear your mask before entering the church and keep it on for the duration of Mass.  Keep in mind that outdoor seating is still available.

Because the Eucharist is the most important gathering of God’s people, we would like to ensure that we provide a safe and healthy environment.  The protocols and guidelines set by the Diocese and the Parishstill allow full participation in the Mass without putting our well-being in jeopardy.

The celebration of the Eucharist is the source and summit of our Christian life.  It is through the Eucharist that the community gathers to give God thanks and to be nourished with God’s Word and the Body and Blood of the Risen Lord.  Transformed by the Eucharist, we are invited to go forth to be the Body of Christ.  And filled and empowered by the Spirit, we are to proclaim what we have celebrated in our daily lives.

We always look forward to seeing and worshipping with you!
