Congratulations and Thank You!

 In Pastor's Notes-Fr. Ritche

As we finish the academic year of 2021-2022, I congratulate our 65 eighth graders who graduated on June 2nd. I know these past two years have been very challenging times for these students, yet they gave their best to complete their formation at Holy Spirit School. Despite the challenges they had to endure, from masking, on-line learning, social distancing, and dealing with Covid in general, these students passed with flying colors. They stayed committed to their studies and were very flexible as they tried to maneuver their schedules to comply with school requirements. I am very proud of our 8th graders! Good job!

I thank their parents and all those who involved in their formation. With their guidance, they have managed to attain yet another forward step in their academic life! The Holy Spirit School’s efforts to enhance the educational development of these students have definitely been made a lot easier due to their parents’ help.

I extend my gratitude to our staff who are moving on to explore other opportunities outside our school.

To Mrs. Debbie D’Amico who worked tirelessly in directing our Pre-K program. Thank you for your 18 years dedication and faithfulness. Your classroom has been for most of these students the door, the first encounter for our students and parents and an example of what our school is truly like. Your love, patience, and understanding are impeccable. Congratulations on your well-deserved retirement.

To Mr. Greg Vohs. He has been a great leader of our school community. He weathered through the pandemic playing a vital role in transitioning our school community from an in-person learning to a virtual setting. He worked collaboratively with the school leadership, teachers, and parents to ensure that the students received the best possible academic formation. Thank you, Mr. Vohs for your service, leadership, and dedication to this community.

Finally, as we begin the summer season, I pray with all of you, not only in gratitude for the many gifts that God continues to give us, but also for your continued safety and well-being.
