Turkeys & Tarps Drive 2021

 In Pastor's Notes-Fr. Ritche

“Feed the hungry and help those in trouble. Then your light will shine out from the darkness, and the darkness around you will be as bright as noon.” – Isaiah 58:10

Our drive has ended. Thank you to all who have contributed to this wonderful drive! Below is our article to announce the kick-off for the drive.

For over 25 years our Holy Spirit community has been a ray of hope to the many clients at Sacred Heart Community Services. As the holidays quickly come upon us we again are asked to help those in need. We have the opportunity to provide a turkey, chicken or ham dinner to brighten the season for families in need. As we gather around our table to give thanks we are ensuring that they also have something to give thanks for.

We will be collecting donations between November 1st through 14th. A donation of $20.00 supports one holiday dinner, which feeds 12-18 people or provides two tarps for our Survival Sacks ministry. With the money collected, Sacred Heart will allocate the funds as they see fit.

This year, you can donate in person, after Mass on the weekends of November 6th-7th and November 13th-14th, or online, starting November 1st.

Please be as generous as you can. The pandemic has caused tremendous hardship for many individuals, so if you are not able to participate we ask for your continued prayers for our brothers and sisters at Sacred Heart.

Together we can make a difference. Thank you for your continued support!
