Let Your Voice Be Heard!

 In Pastor's Notes-Fr. Ritche

After 18 months of enduring the many trials of the global pandemic, we’re all eager to return to our lives. However, we also realize that the pandemic and subsequent lockdowns have changed many of our daily habits, as well as our attitudes toward what we used to view as “normal”. Plainly stated, none of us is exactly the same as we were pre-COVID.

As a result, we are launching the Parish Renewal Initiative which is a multi-phased effort to strengthen our parish community and help us build for the future. The first phase which begins this week is a communal discernment. It is comprised of small group discussions from which we hope to more fully understand the current and future needs of our diverse community.

There are a variety of dates, times and locations for these sessions. You may use the link provided here to view the available dates and sign up for the session that fits best for you.

The sessions will enable you to share your views on a variety of topics that will help shape the future of our parish. This is truly my chance as your pastor to listen to you and to let me know what your dreams and hopes are for our community.

We have prepared a prayer card for all of you. I am asking that we pray the Parish Initiative Renewal prayer and invite the Holy Spirit to help and guide us in our efforts to Respond, Renew, and Re-engage.

I’d like to thank the steering committee, the facilitators, scribes, the other volunteers and all of you in your willingness to participate in this endeavor.

God bless us all!
Fr. Ritche
