Cursillo

Dear friends,

It’s been a long two years with COVID, and we’ve all been feeling the disconnect from our friends, communities and perhaps our faith.  With the pandemic situation improving, why not take a few days to reconnect and recharge by making a Cursillo retreat weekend?

What is Cursillo?  Cursillo, or Cursillo de Cristianidad, means “Short course in Christianity”.  Over an engaging and interactive weekend, you’ll gain a deeper and practical understanding of our Faith, experiencing God’s love and learning how to make a positive difference in your own life and the world around you: at work, with friends, family, and in the broader church and community.

Cursillo is held as two separate weekends, one for men, and one for women – at the beautiful St. Clare’s retreat center in Soquel, which is on the way to Santa Cruz.  The men’s weekend will be from March 31st evening through April 3rd afternoon, and the women’s weekend will be held between April 28th and May 1st.  This will be a fully vaccinated weekend – all participants and the team requires vaccination, and precautions such as masks, will be taken throughout to have a safe and meaningful experience.  Several of our Parishioners have previously been on a Cursillo weekend and are now on the team conducting and hosting the upcoming retreats.

Please take time to pray for guidance to discern if this may be a weekend for you.  For details and to register, please note the registration link here.  Or contact sanjaynoronha@gmail.com.

God bless.
