Congratulations, Class of 2021!

 In Pastor's Notes-Fr. Ritche

Congratulations to our 8th Grade Class of 2021 who celebrated their graduation last Thursday, June 3. Also, I congratulate their parents, our school faculty, especially Ms. Lisa Coulter and Ms. Amanda Smith for helping our students in navigating a balanced education with the demands of protecting their health and that of the whole community.

This year has not been the easiest for our school community. The pandemic has made many changes and adjustments in the academic life of our students; mask-wearing, social-distancing, distance learning, and limited interaction with one another are just some of things that these students have had to endure. Given all that, our students have their demonstrated their best effort to maintain a healthy and fruitful academic year.

As they begin their high school studies, our students will undergo major adjustments. While being freshmen students can be exciting and fun, they will also discover that it has its own challenges – new environment, new teachers, new friends, new schedule, new learning styles – that is why it is imperative that we journey with them in our prayers.

To all other graduates of 2021 may it be from college or from other schools, we are also proud of you. And as you step forward into the world that awaits, let us ask God to guide you in the right directions befitting your training and the service it will give to humanity that reflects His Divine presence.

May this summer be a time for rest, prayer, bonding with family, and a time of preparation for what is ahead of you. No matter what your plans are, please continue stay safe and healthy.

To all the Class of 2021 graduates, please know that the Holy Spirit Parish will always be a home for you. We love you and we’ve got your backs.
