Small Communities of Faith

Adult Ministry

On the journey together

The primary purpose of gathering into small groups is faith sharing. This particular process of faith sharing includes praying together, reflecting on Scripture, and sharing personal faith stories. While Scripture is central to the sharing, this is not Scripture study. Faith sharing is about growing in the Lord and supporting each other in living out the faith on a daily basis.

There are groups of Small Christian Communities which meet on a regular basis. If you are interested in participating in a group or would like to start one, please contact Merry Reardon at 408-997-5112 or mreardon@dsj.org.

Wednesday Men’s Groups – 6:30 to 7:50 a.m. in the Parish Office, and 7:15 to 8:30 p.m. in the Parish Hall
Holy Spirit offers opportunities for men to come together in prayer. A well established Men’s Faith Sharing group meets 6:30–7:50 a.m. on Wednesday mornings in the Parish Office Conference room. If you are interested in this early bird group, please contact Frank Ricchio at frankricchio@sbcglobal.net for more information. A more recent addition that arose during our ARISE gatherings meets on Monday nights from 7:15-8:30 p.m.  in the Parish Hall. If you are better able to make an evening gathering, please contact John Stubler at john@johnstubler.com. These groups offer an opportunity for the men in our parish to build a deeper relationship with Jesus and one another.
